- Amendmet 0002 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting Requests for Quotes for a new Chemical/HAZMAT Storage Building. The solicitation number W912ES-11-T-0104 is issued as a Request for Quotes. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, and evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers anticipates a firm fixed-price contract. The quote shall include manufacturing and delivery of a new pre-fabricated chemical storage building according to specifications described in the included Scope of Work (SOW). Delivery is required by 17 November 2011, to the U.S. Corps of Engineers, Eau Galle Lake Project site located in the Village of Spring Valley, WI. The full solicitation with clauses and specific delivery information will be posted with this announcement. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-20. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation are those in effect at the time of publication. This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The quoter is cautioned that the listed provisions may include blocks that must be completed by the quoter and submitted with their quotation. The solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business concerns and the size standard is 500 employees. The associated NAICS Code is 332311. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote. Quoters must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry located at www.ccr.gov prior to contract award. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determination by the government to not award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the government.
