- Description
- The project includes an aircraft maintenance unit (AMU) of 15,200 SF (1,408 SM) that will consist of administrative areas, tool room, supply/bench stock area, storage, shop areas, emergency shower and eyewash stations, locker room with showers, break area, meeting area and all necessary utility infrastructure support. The project also includes an access apron, site lighting and all other necessary support. Force protection for the structures will include structural reinforcement of exterior walls and tempered glass windows. The project includes demolition of the existing concrete slabs, foundations and sidewalks within the building footprint as well as relocation or abandonment of the associated utilities. LEED silver certification is required.
