- FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT; HOWEVER, A REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY11 END OF YEAR SPEND PLAN. AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDS BECOMING AVAILABLE ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 23, 2011. ALL QUOTES NEED TO BE VALID UNTIL SEPTEMBER 23, 2011. This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-33 and DFARS Change Notice 20070913. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 221310, size standard $7.0M. This is a best value award. The contractor shall provide the following items: (1) Water filtration system able to be powered by battery or generator (120V AC/12V DC); Purfication rate of > or equal to 5 gallons per minute; weight < 200 lbs; Must pass NSF/EPA P248 Protocal for military water purification systems; and have on board pump. System will be used in contingency operations to support natural disaster relief to support base camp and field clinic missions.
