- FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT; HOWEVER, A REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY11 END OF YEAR SPEND PLAN. AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDS BECOMING AVAILABLE ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 23, 2011. ALL QUOTES NEED TO BE VALID UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 2011. This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is a Small Business Set Aside IAW FAR 19.502-2(a). The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52 and DFARS Change Notice 20110819. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333512, size standard 500 employees. This is a best value award. The contractor shall provide the following items: CLIN 0001: (QTY 1 EACH) BRAND NAME OR EQUAL (Accuturn 8944L Multi Speed Brake Lathe) P/N: ACU8944L "OR EQUAL" QUOTES WILL BE ACCEPTED. IF "OR EQUAL" QUOTES ARE SUBMITTED, ALL SPECIFICATIONS & PICTURES MUST BE INCLUDED WITH QUOTE. AWARD WILL BE MADE ON THE BASIS OF THE LOWEST EVALUATED PRICE OF QUOTES MEETING OR EXCEEDING ACCEPTABILITY STANDARDS FOR NON-COST FACTORS. ***ALL SHIPPING COSTS MUST BE INCLUDED WITH FINAL QUOTE. SHIPPING IS TO TRACY, CALIFORNIA. *** Items should be shipped no later than 30 days ADC, FOB: Destination for delivery to Tracy, CA. Responses to this RFQ must be received via e-mail, by 14 September 2011, 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time. NOTE: FAR 52.232-18- Availability of funds. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor received notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
