- The US Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) will host an Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI) for interested parties to be held on the following date: Date: Tuesday, 6 December 2011 Time: Check-in/Registration 0700 - 0745 hours EST APBI 0745 - 1630 hours EST Place: Myer Auditorium, Building 6000, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD At this briefing, ATEC will discuss current and upcoming contracting opportunities throughout ATEC and the potential impact of recent Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) guidance on future ATEC contracting opportunities. Presentations will cover organizational redesign at APG and throughout the command, ATEC's strategic vision to include command resources, workload, contract approaches, and specific opportunities. The APBI will be unclassified and open to all interested contractors, large and small businesses, and universities. Dress code is business professional. The website for online registration, for the conference, is forthcoming and will be posted as an amendment to this announcement when it is available. Foreign Nationals are welcomed and will be required to register online; no foreign language interpreters will be provided. On-site registration will be available for US citizens only. All attendees must meet the requirements for admission to APG, to include: proper identification (i.e. Driver's license or Common Access Card (CAC)), car registration or a car rental agreement, and proof of insurance.
