- Description
- NASA/KSC has a requirement for (1) GPS Receiver, P/N Triumph-VS (5 ea); (2) GPSAntennas, P/N RingAnt-G3T (5 ea).NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from JAVAD GNSS, Inc., 900 Rock Ave., San Jose, CA 95131-1615. There is is only one responsible source available and no other supplier orservices will satisfy agency requirements.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon September 13, 2011.Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
