Description
Revised PWS 6 Sep 2011 AMENDMENT 1-Attaches an updated PWS dated 6 Sep 2011, attaches vendor questions and answers and schedules a second site visit as follows: A site visit will be held on 15 Sep 2011 @ 9:00 AM. Prospective offerors will meet Kristy Svendsen at the Whiteman AFB Visitors Center by 8:45 AM the day of the site visit for issuance of a temporary base pass. Any prospective offeror shall RSVP to Kristy Svendsen via email at least 24 hours prior to the start of the site visit. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA4625-11-Q-0051. For the purpose of this procurement the small business size standard is $14.0 Million. General Wage Decision # 05-2307 Revision 12 dated 6/13/2011 applies to this acquisition and can be found at http://www.wdol.gov/. All offers are to remain valid for a period of 60 days. Basis for Award: The Government will award a contract from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Paper copies of the Request for Quotation shall not be made available. This requirement is for the installation of an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) for the 20th Reconnaissance Squadron at Whiteman Air Force Base in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). ** All contractors submitting a proposal are highly encouraged to attend the site visit.** **Only one site visit will be held** A site visit will be held on 31 Aug 2011 @ 9:00 AM. Prospective offerors will meet Kristy Svendsen at the Whiteman AFB Visitors Center by 8:45 AM the day of the site visit for issuance of a temporary base pass. Any prospective offeror shall RSVP to Kristy Svendsen via email at least 24 hours prior to the start of the site visit.
