- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following: 1) Calibrate 319 pieces of test equipment to be calibrated using 3 separate time periods with turn around to be 7-14 days between each calibration time period. The first will consist of 97 pieces of test equipment, the second will be 110 pieces of test equipment and the third will be 112 pieces of test equipment (Qty 1 lot). This requirement is sole sourced to Micro Precision Calibration Inc., 21331 Adamson Dr., Grass Valley, CA 95949-8399 due to unique capability. Micro Precision Calibration Inc. is the only known company that meets NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) traceability and ANSIINCSL Z540 LAB Certification for calibration of all the equipment and can meet the quick response time required for all 319 pieces. Any firms believing that they can provide the calibration of ALL 319 pieces may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the test equipment without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
