- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, intends to acquire 4700 Futronic FS88 USB Fingerprint Scanners. This is a limited source action to be awarded as a new fixed price purchase order to authorized vendors of the Futronic Fingerprint Scanners. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a limited number of vendors under authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source capable of providing the required supplies that will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with limited sources under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. The applicable NAICS code is 423430 and the small business standard size is 100 employees.
