- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), intends to issue a sole source purchase order award to Colorado Serum Company, located in Denver, Colorado for Mycobacterium Bovis Bulk PPD for use in the National Bovine Tuberculosis Eradiation Program. Colorado Serum Company is the sole manufacturer of this product that is licensed by the USDA, Center for Veterinary Biologics, and is the only company that produces and sells Mycobacterium Bovis PPD in bulk. The proposed contract action is to supply VS with this product to support their TB Eradication Program, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) Numbered Note 22 applies. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. This notice is for information purposes only. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored.
