- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and quotes/proposals are being requested. Solicitation number N00167-11-T-0114 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325510 with the size standard of 500 employees. This is a 100% set-aside for small business. This acquisition is for services to sandblast and paint/coat a large battery test chamber. SUBMISSION OF OFFERS: Quotes can be submitted by returning a completed copy of the attached solicitation document N00167-11-T-0114, or by submitting a quote on company letterhead stationery, or as otherwise specified in the solicitation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 as well as DCN 20110819. All contractors and individuals doing business with the Federal Government must be registered at the Contractor Central Registration Database (CCR) to be considered for award. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements is available via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx or by contacting the CCR Customer Service Desk. (8am - 8pm Eastern Time) 866-606-8220 or 334-206-7828. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. If a change occurs in this requirement, only offers received within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
