- This is notice that Naval Special Warfare Group Four, Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek, Norfolk, VA intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price contract to Oregon Iron Works, Inc., located in Clackamas, OR. Only one responsible source and no other source will satisfy the agency requirement under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336611. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304( c ) (1) and FAR 6.302-1(b) (1). All responsible sources who feel they should be considered /qualified to provide the foregoing product may submit a written Statement of Capabilities. The Statement of capabilities must contain sufficient detail to allow the Government to determine if the party can perform this requirement. Clin: 0001 Provide engineering services to analyze and modify MK V SOC transporter for use with the Sealion Craft. Information furnished shall include enough detailed documentation to allow the government to perform a proper evaluation. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This Notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A Solicitation will NOT be issued. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
