- The Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound intends to solicit, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), to purchase six (6) each 7000 Gallon Round Horizontal Tanks fabricated with 316L Stainless Steel, in accordance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 1. The tanks shall be approximately 26.5 feet long with a 7-foot inside diameter. The tanks will be supported in a frame assembly that will be used for lifting, storage, and transportation purposes. The first two (2) tanks (minimum) shall be delivered within 180 days after notice of award of contract to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & IMF, Detachment San Diego. The following two (2) tanks shall be delivered within 210 days after notice of award of contract to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & IMF, Detachment San Diego. The fifth tank shall be delivered within 210 days after notice of award of contract to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & IMF, Bremerton, WA. The final tank shall be delivered within 240 days after notice of award of contract to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & IMF, Bremerton, WA. FOB Destination, within consignee's premises to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & IMF, Detachment San Diego and PSNS, Bremerton, WA. Numbered Note One applies “ The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This requirement to be solicited using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable with Past Performance factors resulting in award of a Firm-Fixed Price, Supply type contract. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 8 September 2011 with a closing on 11 October 2011. Complete specifications to be included in the solicitation. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FLCPS. Offerors must also be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement at http://www.ccr.gov.
