- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity in support of the US Army Medical Material Activity (USAMMA). Due to the exclusive availability only to this vendor this a notice of Intent to issue an order to Exa Grid Systems,Inc. 11921 Freedom Drive Reston, Virginia 20190 for Exa Grid Ex- 23-DB System with Support for EX10000E 1 Yr 8.5 Delivery date Oct 15, 2011. USAMRAA intends to negotiate this contract on a sole source basis with in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation ( FAR) part 6.302-1,Only one responsible source and NO other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)1). This announcement constitutes the only notice a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quote. This Special Notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received by the closing date specified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to Compete with proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All question concerning this notice shall be emailed to Mr Jim Coover at Jimmy.Coover@Amedd.Army.mil. Interested small business concerns may identify their capacities in writing by responding to this notice by 12:00 pm EST on Sept 15, 2011 to the above email address. Verbal Reponses shall not be considered.
