THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a special Notice of Intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price commodities purchase order, in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) under the expressed authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c). Virginia Contracting Activity, Bolling AFB, Building 6000, Washington, DC 20340-5100, intents to award a sole source contract to General Dynamics, 77 A St, Needham, MA 02494-2806. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government and will be awarded without discussion for the TACLANE Micro Unit, P/N MC-10901-2 and TACLANE Rack Mount Shelf Kit, P/N MC-106A. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 541519 applies.
