- SOW COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR 3rd MSOB Cage Work PR#: M2095011SU00075 Solicitation#: H92257-11-Q-0052 FSC: 5660 Fencing, Fences, Gates and Components This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, FAR Subpart 13.5 procedures are being utilized. Solicitation number H92257-11-Q-0052 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and DFARS Change Notice DCN 20080423. The proposed acquisition is restricted in business size to Small Business interests. The associated NAICS code is 236220, with an applicable size standard of $33.5m. Marine Corps Special Operations Command, 3rd Marine Special Operations Battalion, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, has a requirement for Personal security cages in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. This RFQ will be evaluated using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). In order be considered Technically Acceptable, the contractor shall conform to all aspects of the SOW. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of this solicitation; however, the Government reserves the right to award no contract at all, depending on the quality of offers submitted. An offer will be considered incomplete and will not be considered for award if technical acceptability can not be met. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. An offeror shall complete only paragraph (k) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov.
