- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Procurement. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applied Biosystems by other than full and open competition, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, to provide DHS S&T Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC) with Big Dye Sequencing Supplies. These supplies include the BigDye Terminator Cycle Sequencing Kits, Buffers, and Capillary arrays for the Applied Biosystems Prism 3730xl DNA analyzer. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Thus, this is not a formal solicitation. Therefore, this is not considered a Request for Proposal (RFP).
