- The Mission and Installation Command (MICC) Installation Contracting Office (ICO) - Fort Gordon intends to solicit and negotiate using simplified acquisition procedures a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Priority Dispatch in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1). The requirement is delivery, installation, training and testing of the proprietary Client Server Software (FairCom) and the Dispatch Software (ProQA) on two dispatch consoles/workstations. This is to include configuring these to match the current configuration currently in use by the dispatch center. The consoles/workstations will be up to industry standards and will be in compliance with NFPA 1221. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) identified for this requirement is 541511 and the small business size standard is $25 Million THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by 0800 EST on 16 September 2011 via e-mail to Jordan Rhoades at jordan.c.rhoades@us.army.mil. Additionally, any response to this notice shall show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. No reimbursement for any costs associated with providing capability information will be provided.
