- Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source purchase order to Small Tree Communications. The agency ™s requirement is for the purchase of 10 Dual Port Optical 10Gb PCI Express Ethernet Network Adapters and 1 Year of Hardware Support. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 13 September 2011 at 10:00AM EST.
