- Justification & Approval Approval received in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.304 to execute a modification to exercise the Option to Extend Services (FAR clause 52.217-8) for six months. This clause was incorporated into the original contract, W911W5-11-C-0005, at the time of award. Award of the original six month contract was previously approved by the Army INSCOM HCA; this modification extends those services. A contract to support the Biometrics Intelligence Program's requirements is currently being re-competed as an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract; however, additional time is necessary to allow for completion of the source selection, award of the base IDIQ contract, competition of subsequent task orders, and to allow for a sixty day transition period for CONUS and OCONUS operations.
