Description
Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is for market research purposes only. Respondents should also note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this RFI. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents regarding any responses to this RFI. Respondents must submit capability statements that clearly define the firm's ability to perform the work stated in this RFI in conjunction with the DRAFT Statement of Work 1.0Draft Statement of Work 1.1Pre-deployment Upon award, our Aruba Certified Mobility Professionals (ACMP) engineering team will coordinate with the SEC-LEE and NEC representatives to develop, implement and document a network integration scheme including Internet Protocol (IP) addressing, Virtual Local Area Networks (VLAN), protocols, connection of hosts, and legacy networks (if applicable). Based on the information gathered, an Installation Design Plan (IDP) will be developed including the following documentation. Develop Engineering Installation Drawings (EID) - Drawings depicting the location of all access points to be installed, switch locations and predicted cable runs. EIDs will be in VISIO format. Main Bill of Materials (MBOM) - Validate the list of Aruba hardware and software required prior to placing order Develop Network IP Integration Scheme and Network Diagram/Topology depicting all devices to be installed Develop a System Acceptance Test (SAT) Plan and submit to Fort Lee NEC for review and approval Develop and submit an Implementation schedule to Fort Lee NEC/ SEC-Lee for approval 1.2Implementation 1.2.1Installation 1.2.1.1Bldg 1109 Install, configure and integrate two Aruba 3600 mobility controllers and all applicable licenses to support the SEC Lee's 802.11 a/b/g/n Wireless LAN and Wireless Intrusion Protection Services Install 38 AP-125 access points to provide indoor 802.11 a/b/g/n client coverage on all four floors in and the mezzanine accordance with Appendix I (mezzanine not depicted in Appendix I). Install 18 AP-125 access points to provide dedicated 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless intrusion detection monitoring to all four floors, the mezzanine and the Server Room on the east wing. One AP-85TX and associated cabling/antennas will be installed on the exterior of the building to provide 802.11 a/b/g/n client coverage to the gazebo area on the Northeast side of the building. 1.2.1.2Bldg 5104 Install four AP-125 access points to provide indoor 802.11 a/b/g/n client coverage on both floors in accordance with Appendix I. Install two AP-125 access points to provide dedicated 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless intrusion detection monitoring. 1.2.1.3Bldg 6046 Install three AP-125 access points to provide indoor 802.11 a/b/g/n client coverage in accordance with Appendix I. Install two AP-125 access points to provide dedicated 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless intrusion detection monitoring to all four floors and the Server Room on the east wing. 1.2.1.4Bldg 6056 Install two AP-125 access point to provide indoor 802.11 a/b/g/n client coverage and two AP-125 access points to provide dedicated 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless intrusion detection monitoring in the Administrative area on the south end of the building in accordance with Appendix I. No coverage required in the Lab/test areas. 1.2.1.5Bldg 8045 Install, configure and integrate two Aruba 6000 mobility controllers and all applicable licenses to support the NEC 802.11 a/b/g/n Wireless LAN monitoring and Wireless Intrusion Protection Services. Install and configure the Aruba Airwave Management Suite. 1.2.2Configuration / Testing Contractor will install, configure and test wireless LAN controller, access points and integrate installed equipment into the existing WLAN/ LAN (Establish VRRP/VLAN, Roles, and Firewall) IAW local policies. The Team will also apply applicable licenses, create/apply Radio Profiles, update the RF Plan (Load Maps/floor plans) and document the controller configuration. Additional activities, documentation and Test Reports will include Document all Access Point installations (location code, MAC, Serial number) Provisioning Access Points/Air Monitors per engineering design Perform /document testing for all installed areas Upon approval from the Fort Lee NEC Engineers, execute the System Acceptance Test (SAT) Plan and submit results for acceptance 1.3Training On Site training will be provided. This training will be a combination of instructor-led training, hands-on labs and group discussions designed to ensure the designated SEC-Lee and Fort Lee NEC engineers have the knowledge, skills and practical experience required to effectively operate, administer and maintain the installed wireless solution. In addition, training will be provided on how to effectively model and plan for coverage enabling the Fort Lee NEC team the ability to design future WLAN requirements. Upon award the contractor will contact the SEC-Lee and Fort Lee NEC to conduct an interview that will enable us to present the general training objectives, determine any site specific requirements and familiarize ourselves with the strengths, weaknesses and skill sets of the engineers to be trained. The general training objectives will be: Aruba architecture and how it is implemented Installation and configuration of Aruba controllers and access points. Configure a wireless solution to incorporate existing network services. Provision the controller to provide advanced authentication and encryption. Configure the controller to detect intrusion and malicious activity. Best practices WLAN Design and Site Survey Best practices Troubleshooting common client and host problems in a wireless environment.
