- USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to Pressure Cleaning Services, Inc., DBA: Waterblasting.com, 3170 SE Slater Street, Stuart, FL, 34997-5706, to perform rubber removal services for the runway at Edwards Air Force Base using the SH8000R. The SH8000R manufactured by Waterblasting.com has a 40,000 psi ultra-high pressure mobile waterblasting system with patented blasting heads that protect pavement from damage and water recycling on-board via a patented 3 stage filtering technology. Pressure Cleaning Services, Inc., DBA: Waterblasting.com is the sole supplier of this product. The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR 13. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the Contract Specialist by 12:00 PM CST, Monday, September 12, 2011.
