- NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm, fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on a full and open basis for software maintenance of Veritas Netbackup Server/Enterprise Version 6.5 WIN Tier 2 essential support, Enterprise Client 6.5 WIN Tier 2 essential support, Enterprise Client 6.5 LNX Tier 2 essential, Client application and database pack 6.5 WIN Tier 2 essential, 12 months maintenance in support of SRF-JRMC Yokosuka Japan. The Contractor shall provide Veritas backup software maintenance at SRF- JRMC Yokosuka Japan. Place of performance is SRF-JRMC Yokosuka Japan. Period of performance will extend from the date of award to 30 September 2012. The solicitation will be issued on or about 09 September 2011 with a closing date of 14 September 2011. Proposed contract will be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition procedures in accordance with Far Part 12 and 13.5. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price contract. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under Business Opportunities under solicitation number N00406-11-T-1305. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes via NECO is not available at this time.
