Description
This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is a Small Business Set Aside IAW FAR 19.502-2(a). The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52 and DFARS Change Notice 20110819. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 444190, size standard $19M. This is a best value award. The items that are requested are materials used to construct a Sandblasting Booth Complete Unit, this combined synopsis/solicitation is solely for the procurement of the required items below and construction of these items to build the Sandblasting Booth will accomplished on Diego Garcia by another means. Please include in your quote the estimated lead time to receive these items at the destination of our Tracy, California Depot. Also firms are eligible to bid on one item and one item only if they are able to, therefore a firm does not have to bid on every item below to be eligible for award. Please make sure to include all salient characteristics, spec sheets, catalog cuts, etc. with your proposal to ensure you meet the specifications described in each item below. The contractor shall provide the following items: 1. Blast Enclosure, 25'W x 16'H x 57'L, 12 Gauge Walls, 14 Gauge Ceilings and Lighting for Approximately 100 FT-Candles @ 36" from Floor 2. One Roll-Up Door and Two Metal Personnel Doors with View Windows and Safety Interlocks 3. 30,000 CFM, 48 Cartridge Filter Dust Collector System with Electronically Controlled Pulse System with Acess Ladder/Platform 4. Two Tube, Below Grade Media Recovery Floor 5. One 10HP, RAM 22-2 (Two Operator), Designed for Aluminum Oxide Media, Blast/Reclaim System with Reclaim System with Clean Media Storage Hopper: - 32 Cubic Foot Storage Hopper - Two RAM 11 Blast Machines - Associated Equipment Including Hoses, Nozzles, CO Monitor with Visual Alarm and Horn - Control Panel with Disconnect Switch, Motor Starters and Safety Interlocks - Two Operator Safety Packages with CO Monitor, Breathing Air Hoses, Helmets, Gloves and Apron - Hoses & Other Hardware as Required 6. Shipping to Tracy, California.
