- Statement of Work Item/Services Description: Non-Personal Service: The contractor shall provide all personnel transportation, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform an integrated natural and cultural resources management plan as defined in this statement of work (SOW). The Contractor shall have adequate field, photographic, and data processing equipment to conduct all phases of the work. The contractor shall have knowledge of the flora, fauna, habitats and also local history on Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal. The scope of this project is to review and update the 65 ABW Natural and Cultural Resources Management Plan, to include the review of relevant regulatory/operational changes on base mandated by the applicable regulations. It requires the review and update of information regarding species and habitats under local protection statutes and the review/development of goals, objectives, strategies, and recommendations for continuing and future management. 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (OCT 1997) (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and Proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. (b) Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It SHALL NOT be used as a proposal. (c) This solicitation is issued for the purpose of determining if there are sources available to provide this service, and which is the best commercial practice available to meet our requirement.
