- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Henry Ford Health System, 2799 West Grand Blvd., Detroit, MI 48202, for abstracted data from reviews of all available medical records in Southeast Michigan for evaluation of previously documented VRSA precursors among MRSA and VRE (Phase II). This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-Only one responsible source will satisfy the Agency's requirements because Henry Ford Health System has access to the medical records from Phase I in order to perform the necessary chart reviews. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
