- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a solicitation for the purchase of commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Solicitation Number is: W5J9LE-11-T-0026 - Request for Quotation (RFQ) University Laboratories - Concrete Testing Equipment. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors will be expected to submit a quotation from the list of supplies listed below, as no hard copies will be mailed. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be honored and no offeror's list will be maintained. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards should no single vendor be able to provide all items. Vendors may be asked to provide specifications or catalog cuts to verify quoted items; no submission is required at the time of quote. FAR provisions and addenda 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Notwithstanding FAR clause 52.212-1, Offerors are required to submit their quotes electronically (via e-mail) in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat to: TAS.Contracting@usace.army.mil with a courtesy copy to Diedrie.Hurd@usace.army.mil. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this order. Offerors shall be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in accordance with subparagraph (t) of Clause 52.212-4 of this solicitation, to be eligible for award. The full text of the referenced FAR clauses may be accessed electronically at: http://www.acqnet.gov/far. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-52. The FAR clause 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal is included. Payment for Line Item(s) will be made on the basis of Firm Fixed Price (FFP). FFP payments require completion, delivery and acceptance by the government for the items specified. Award shall be made to the Offeror that provides the lowest overall price. The Government may award on all or part of the items listed.
