- PR 0042557396. Request for Proposal SPM4A6-11-R-0345, will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Contract for NSN 5895-01-187-9355, Multiplexer. Solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement utilizing Other than Full and Open Competition. The PR quantity is 109 each. A 100% Quantity Option applies. Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. This is a source controlled item and the approved sources are Raytheon CAGE 49956 P/N G254077-2V2 and L-3 CAGE 60583 P/N NAR8432. A classified drawing forms a part of this data package and will be supplied upon request after contract award and submission by the contractor of a DD FORM 254. Contract award for this item is limited to those contractors that have a valid and current security classification level of confidential prior to award. Confidential security clearance and confidential safeguarding/storage facility clearance is required. Export Control applies. NSN is not a Critical Safety Item. Government First Article Testing (FAT)/Pre Production Approval is required. A sample of 2 each is to be tested. FAT is to be forwarded to: 802 MXSS/MXREM ATTN: FIRST ARTICLE TEST LAB 450 THIRD ST. ROBINS AFB, GA 31098-1640 SEND FIRST ARTICLE TEST SAMPLES TO: DODAAC FD2060 DLA CENTRAL RECEIVING DDWG ER SPECIAL HANDLING, FIRST ARTICLE UNIT 455 BYRON STREET WR-ALC ROBINS AFB, GA 31098-1887 The required delivery is as follows: FAT 180 days, Government evaluation 60 days, production after FAT approval 185 days. The total delivery is 425 days. A Subcontracting Plan is not required. Formal cost and pricing data is not required. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. Progress Payments are not included as conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met. Synopsis was posted to Federal Business Opportunities on September 7, 2011. Solicitation issue date is September 26, 2011. Solicitation closing date is October 26, 2011.
