- This is a notice of intent from the Naval Air Systems Command to issue a fixed price type contract modification on an other than full and open competition basis, with Northrop Grumman Corporation, San Diego, CA to provide a quantity of two (2) non- Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Ground Control Stations (GCS) for the Vertical Takeoff and Landing Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV). Northrop Grumman is the sole designer and manufacturer of the VTUAV and GCS Systems. Accordingly, Northrop Grumman is the only firm with the unique knowledge, experience, technical expertise and understanding of the Fire Scout design and architecture to provide the GCS Systems.
