- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, North Carolina, intends to issue a firm-fixed price, sole source purchase order to Greyhound Bus Lines, 350 North Saint Paul Street, STE 300, Dallas, TX, 75201. This non-competitive action is being issued by the Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, NC. The Federal Correctional Complex has a need for passenger bus transportation services from Durham, NC to mutiple dewstination trhoughout the United States. The Government believes that Greyhound Bus Lines is the only vendor that will satisfy the agency requirement for services. FCC Butner currently uses Greyhound Bus Lines for passenger bus services. This is not a request for competitive quotes. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received within 5 working days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
