Description
Question 1: Laydown Area: Is there an area adjacent to the install site for marshaling components and equipment? Area is a 200'x 200' level, compacted, stone pad with no overhead obstructions, the structure will be erected in the corner of the square pad. Two sides (front and one side) are available for equipment placement and operation. The back and the other side will be cleared for foot traffic only. Contractors will be able to use the entire pad for lay down area. Question 2: Traffic: is there any traffic adjacent to the site which will impact the install? There are no traffic or equipment issues that will affect structure building/erecting process. Possibility exists that contractor will have to periodically exit the installation site due to test events. These periodic site exits will be less than one hour. Question 3: Site Plan and Photos: Are these available? Due to operational security concerns, no sit photos will be provided. However, a line drawn site map with topographic contours can be provided upon request. Question 4: Adjacent areas: What is the surface of the areas adjacent to the install site? Is there any limitation on using install equipment on the surfaces immediately adjacent to the shelter? Are there any above grade fixtures or equipment located nearby. See answer to question 1. Question 5: Overhead Obstructions: Are there any overhead utilities or trees adjacent to the install site? No. Question 6: Shelter sides and rear wall to be mounted on 14' high columns: Is there a horizontal surface along the top of the which the fabric is to be terminated to? Will the space between the columns be open or enclosed? Structure will be mounted on 14' high concrete columns that are 12" or 18" width. Horizontal mounting surface will be concrete. Area between concrete columns will be open. Question 7: Front wall to be mounted to the ground: What is the surface here? Concrete, soil, asphalt? Compacted gravel. Question 8: Doors 20' x 20': There is no further description of these. Are these to be metal roll up doors? 20'x 20' door can be fabric but must have an opening/closing device.
