- Description
- The United States Geological Survey intends to award a non-competitive contract in accordance with FAR 13.5 Test Program for Commercial Items, for quantity one maintenance and license renewal of M204 and Connect* software, to be delivered to Reston Virginia, from 10/01/2011 to 09/30/2012. The requirement consists of one one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Computer Corporation of America (CCA) is the only known source for this requirement because the required software is proprietary to CCA. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation no later than 09/14/2011 which shall be considered by the agency. However, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A firm-fixed price award will be made on or about 09/19/2011.
