- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This will be an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items, 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The US Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013, has a requirement to procure the following items: ITEM: Two (2) 20mm M187 bores, chambered to fit 20MM M187 cases, with 1-in-20 twist; 98 inches long. ITEM: Two (2) 14.5mm M187 bores, chambered to fit 14.5MM M187 cases, with 1-in-20 twist; 98 inches long. ITEM: Shipping for above items. The intended delivery date for the item(s) is 30 days after date of contract. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract as a result of this solicitation. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332995 and the Business Size Standard is 500. The subject solicitation is a 100% set aside for small business. All responses received within 21 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Interested persons may submit quotations to the synopsis no later than 2:00PM, Easter Time, 28 September 2011.
