- Solicitation Number: TIRMS-11-R-00002 Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: The United States Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a requirement for nationwide postage meter machine lease and maintenance services. The services shall include delivery of the machines, installation, training, routine preventative maintenance, urgent repair response, and other services. Performance will be nationwide and also includes Puerto Rico. The IRS intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract. The award will consist of a Base Period and four 12-month options. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 13, 2011. The solicitation will be posted to FBO.gov. The Government intends to provide the solicitation and all amendments via FBO.gov. The solicitation will be open to all responsible offerors. This is the only notice that will be posted regarding the issuance of the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to ensure they are kept abreast of the issuance of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments by monitoring FBO.gov and the IRS’ website.
