- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This will be an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground Installation Contracting Division 4118 Susquehanna Avenue Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013, has a requirement to procure the following items: Item: Seven (7) TG 2000-42C Vatell-brand Heat Flux sensors Item: Seven (7) AMP-15B Vatell-brand Amplifiers The intended delivery date for the item(s) is within 30 days after date of contract. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Vatell Corporation. The subject Vatell brand transducer/ amplifier is currently specified for use within internal ATC Operating Procedures. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334519 and the Business Size Standard is 500. All responses received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, September 16th, 2011. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
