- This proposed contract will be for the procurement of POWER ELEVATING POSITIONING EQUIPMENT at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD), Chambersburg, PA. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Contract. The Solicitation documents will define the salient characteristics that establish the minimum requirements for the purchase of POWER ELEVATING POSITIONING EQUIPMENT for Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA. for the following: The Contractor will furnish one (1) new Koike Model 7H/7T-PE (Brand Name or Equal) power elevating positioning equipment system with a total load capacity of 50,000 pounds. The power elevating positioning equipment system shall include one (1) headstock and one (1) tailstock, one (1) mobile car with rail, and safety equipment in accordance with the statement of work. Other requirements within the specification are training and complete turnkey installation, all required equipment calibration, Operating and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and shipping to Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD), Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Building 350, in accordance with the specifications. The NAICS code is 423830 and the FSC code is 3990. All respondents shall be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System, have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The size standard is 100. Further information may be obtained at the website www.bpn.gov/ccr. A solicitation will be issued on or about September 21, 2011. The estimated closing date will be on or about October 22, 2011. No telephone calls will be accepted.
