- NASA/LaRC has a requirement for TigerEye Processor Part Number: 101757-RP, Qty:One(1) EA: TigerEye Command and Control System Part Number 200128,Qty; One(1) EA andInstallation and Support, Qty: One (1) JOB.NASA/LaRC intends to purchase the items from Advanced Scientific Concepts, Inc. NASA LaRChas been developing 3-dimensional Imaging Flash Linear sensor system aimed at meetingNASA's Space Exploration needs for autonomous soft landing of payloads on the Moon andMars under the Autonomous Landing and Hazard Avoidance (ALHALT) project. The originalsensor heads were built by Advanced Scientific Concepts(ASC). The items being procuredare replacement parts for the existing Flash Lidar Sensor Heads. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon 09/16/2011.Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
