- Questions and Answers as of 7 September 2011 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation W912JB-11-T-4057 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. (IV) This acquisition is 100% set aside for a small business concerns. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 238210, standard industrial classification 1731, small business size $14 Million. (V) CLIN, QUANTITY, DESCRIPTION/PART NUMBER: 0001; 1 Lump Sum; *Install two 100 AMP, 240 volt, single phase, 20 circuit, NEMA 3R weather proof panels (Each One to be mounted at each end of 12 unit aircraft sun shades) *Install two 100 AMP, 240 volt, weather proof generator receptacles (To be located under each panel). One 25FT, 100 AMP, 240 VOLT cords for generator *Wiring of one 240 VOLT, 20 AMP circuit for each bay from lights to panel, one 240 VOLT breaker for each bay. *LIFT, ELECTRICAL PERMIT, ALL LABOR, AND MATERIAL TO BE SUPPLIED BY VENDOR/AWARDEE [We have 12 bays (sun shades) total. Bay 1 and 12 will have a panel on the outside of the bay that controls power to 6 bays. Each panel will have circuits to turn on power to each individual bay.] 0002; 2 EA; 30 KW generator which has capacity to run 6 bays P/N: KOHLER #REOZJC W/ TRAILER (VI) This is a FIRM FIXED PRICE contract for Installation of panels and generator receptacles for lighting in High Bays. (VII) FOB point is Destination to Selfridge ANGB, MI 48045. Delivery is expected within 30 days of contract award. (VIII) The following provisions in their latest editions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial. (IX) The Government intends to award a contract without discussions with respective Offerors. The Government, however, reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in the best interest of the Government. (X) Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer. A copy has been posted at www.fbo.gov.
