- Description
- The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to College Option Foundation, 105 Crossbow Court, Peachtree City, GA 30269, to furnish all services, tools, labor, supplies, shipping and handling, and materials for the following: CLIN 0001: Academic Challenge Bowl; this is to include all online preliminary challenges for over 2,000 Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) students, and support for those challenges. Also to include game competition rounds between AFJROTC units and all meals, lodging, transportation, supplies, and logistics required for final live championship round for 16 four-student teams. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source contract issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as set forth in FAR Part 13.106-1(b). This will be a firm-fixed price contract. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified services, those parties interested must be able to show they have the proper distribution rights and be in compliance with attached statement of work for these services, they must respond to this notice before 3:00 PM (Central Time) on 13 Sept 2011. If no responsible, responsive offers are received by the above date, a sole source contract will be awarded to College Options Foundation.
