- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-11-T-0672 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the lastest edition of the Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is issued on an Total Small Business Set-A-Side basis (see Numbered Note 1), NAICS Code 332999; BADGES & PATCHES (SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK): 1. Provide metal badges in accordance with the provisions of CNICINST 5530.14 as detailed: Specific quantity by rank is: Police no rank (Silver) - 750 Police SGT (Gold) - 130 Police LT (Gold) - 160 Police CAPT (Gold) - 40 Police MAJ (Gold) - 25 Guard no rank (Silver) - 380 Guard SGT (Gold) - 15 Guard LT (Gold) - 20 Guard CAPT (Gold) - 5 2. Provide cloth badges of the same design specifications as above (less pin) in the specific quantity by rank as: Police no rank (Silver) 1,800 Police SGT (Gold) - 350 Police LT (Gold) - 400 Police CAPT (Gold) - 100 Police MAJ (Gold) - 60 Guard no rank (Silver) - 1,100 Guard SGT (Gold) - 40 Guard LT (Gold) - 60 Guard CAPT (Gold) - 20 3. Provide cloth shoulder patches in accordance with the provisions of CNICINST 5530.14 as detailed: Specific quantity is: Police - 10,000 Guard - 4,500 A smooth prototype (sample of production) of each item will be provided for approval by the CNRSE Force Protection Program Director within 15 days of order/contract receipt by the supplier and prior to the mass production of the items. Once approved, mass production can commence and final products delivered to the requestor within 30 days. All artwork will be of high quality caliber and with specific details to reflect a true representation of the picture as displayed above. The center DoN Seal of the metal badges will be of a Cloisonne Insert type, preferred size is either 13/16 or 3/4 as best fitted. It will be permanently affixed to the badge.
