- The Contracting Department, Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), San Diego, CA, 92134 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract, utilizing procedures under FAR Part 13, for Commercial Items, for a Surgical Craniofacial Drill System. The requirement calls for delivery within 14 days of contract award. A complete RFQ package (N00259-11-T-0551) will be available on or around September 7, 2011 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http:// www.neco.navy.mil. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334510. The attached solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-53. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Contractors that are not registered in the CCR database may be given time to register if the requiring activity allows for a delay. However, if the needs of the requiring activity do not allow for a delay, the next otherwise successful registered offeror shall be granted the award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Surgical Craniofacial Drill System must meet or exceed the following capabilities: Series III Straight Drill: 1. minimum 3,000 rpm - maximum 70,000 rpm 2. Twisting locking collet featuring color coded alignment 3. Drill is compatible with Osteomed drill bits 4. Compatible with the Bone Grafting attachment 5. electrical 6. footswitch operated Reciprocating Saw 450-0240 1. 20,000 CPM 2. maximum speed percentage should never exceed 75% or 20,000 cpm 3. utilized blade locking collar 4. electrical 5. footswitch operated Oscillating Saw 450-0261 1. 24,000 CPM 2. utilized quick-release blade locking mechanism (no tools) 3. electrical 4. footswitch operated Sagittal Saw 450-0255 1. 24,000 CPM 2. Blades must be able to attach in following angles (40, 80, 0, -40, -80) 3. utilizes quick-release blade locking mechanism (no tools) 4. electrical 5. footswitch operated
