Description
W913FT-11-T-0137 - USMILGP - Colombia Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) satellite communication satellite airtime voucher units for the Colombian Army Special Operations Command (CCOES) for the Harris RF-7800VU radios. The proposed solution will allow the CCOES access to data, voice, and video capabilities, and provide reliable and secure voice (simple encryption) for remote Satellite Communications applications at a minimum of 256 kbps. Pre-solicitation Synopsis The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Bogota has a requirement for BGAN satellite communication airtime voucher units for the CCOES for the Harris RF-7800VU radios. This requirement is in the country of Colombia, and shall abide by Colombian laws. By submitting a quote the contractor shall guarantee that they have everything in place to complete the requirement to satisfaction. All equipment, materials, labor, licenses, warranties, and insurances are the responsibility of the contractor. The contractor will also be responsible for all shipping and customs clearance for any items imported into Colombia. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The prospective United States contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The estimated solicitation posting on ASFI/FBO and the U.S. Embassy - Bogota contracting website will be 7 Sept 2011. It is the responsibility of the prospective offeror to monitor the website for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to the solicitation.
