- Description
- Colville National Forest, Wiring and Telecommunication, Newport Ranger District. The Newport Ranger District on the Colville National Forest located in North Eastern Washington State has a requirement for up grading the telecommunication wiring for buildings #2005 and #2122. Work includes but not limited to: removing existing telecom wall outlet, jacks, and building CAT3 wiring and installing new wall outlets, jacks, building CAT6 wiring, patch panels, installing underground fiber optic wiring and fiber optic patch panels. The buildings are located on the Newport Ranger District compound, 315 North Warren, Newport, Washington, Pend Oreille County. The Contractors shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the drawings and specification of the contract. There will be a base item and two option items. The base item will be for the demolition of CAT3 and installation of CAT6 Telecom System for Building #2212. The first option item will be for installation of fiber optic line and fiber optic patch panels between building #2005 and #2212. The second option item will be demolition of CAT3 and installation of CAT6 Telecom System for building #2005. The Contractor will have until March 31st to complete the base item and 45 calendar days from the notice to proceed to complete option items. The project is estimated between $25,000 to $100,000. The awarded Contractor will have to provide an alternative payment protection. This project will be advertised as a written request for quotes. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about August 17, 2011. Quotes are estimated to be due September 12, 2011. The actual due date will be listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on this site. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS code is 238210 size standard is $14 million.
