Description

This is a notice of the Government's Intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract using other than full and open competition procedures under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c)- Brand Name, to CaridianBCT, Inc, Lakewood, CO for a standing order delivery of the 80400 Trima RBC/Platelet/Plasma Set (6 cs/month) and ACD-A Solution 750 mil (12 cs/month)for a 12 month base year and one (1) 12 month option period beginning 1 Oct 11. The products are specifically manufactured for the CaridianBCT Trima Automated Blood Collection System. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses are due not later than 10:00 a.m. EST 16 Sep 11 to Sandra.Z.Bulls@us.army.mil. No telephone requests will be accepted.
