- Description
- Sole Source Justifications Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest Customer Service Region (DSW) intends to award a contract on the sole source basis to FLIR Systems under the authority of 41 USC 253 (c) (1), "only one responsible source" to provide the FLIR P620 Infrared Camera. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333315; size standard 500. The basis for the sole source award to FLIR Systems is outlined in the Single Source Justification attached. The propsed contract is for the supply item which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority in FAR 13.5the resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responsible source may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Questions and responses concerning this sole source procurement may be directed to Josh Radosevich at jradose@wapa.gov. All questions and responses are due not later than September 14, 2:00PM PST. No solicitation will be posted.
