- The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa, FL awarded a contract to JMZ Group,LLC, 200 East Government Street, Pensacola, FL 32502, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), to provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, specialty services, supervision and tools to complete Project# 673-11-813, śRestroom Renovations Bldgs #1 & #30, ť at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL 33612, in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of RFP VA-248-11-RP-0070. This project ™s magnitude was determined to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000 based on the size and complexity of the work to be performed. This acquisition was 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to be awarded based on Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA). Twelve proposals were received and JMZ Group, LLC, 200 East Government Street, Pensacola, FL 32502, was determined to have been the Lowest Proposal Technically Acceptable proposal received in the amount of $3,361,744.50 plus $41,827.50 (as needed for Ball Value Units per RFI#19), for a Total of $3,403,572.00. In view of the above, it was determined to be in the government's best interest to award this project in the amount of $3,403,572.00 to JMZ Group, LLC, in accordance with FAR 15.101-2, Lowest Proposal Technical Acceptable.
