- This solicitation is to upgrade the GE Proficy iFix existing software on the LDS systems for the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems and control systems for the Allatoona, Buford, Carters, Millers Ferry, Jones Bluff, Walter F. George, West Point, Hartwell, Richard B. Russell, and J Strom Thurmond power plants in Georgia and Alabama. It is anticipated that a fixed Price contract will be awarded. This procurement is restricted to only GE Fanuc authorized North American sources for Proficy iFix products. The small business NAICS code is 334611. All questions should be sent by email to Geanette Kelley, at geanette.kelley@usace.army.mil. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the flowing website Https://www.fbo.gov on or about 1 September 2011. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format. Therefore, it is the bidder's responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to the solicitation.
