- Fleet Logistics Center San Diego intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13.5. The solicitation number is N00244-11-T-0564. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Aquisition Circular 14. No other written form or solicitation will be issued. FISC San Diego intends to award to The Bag Connection & Bagit System, 459 SW 9th Street., Dundee, OR 97115 for 1200 each, 2-bag bagit racks, P/N 07P, 350 each, 1-bag bagit racks P/N 06P, 1550 each Bagit original bags white printed, P/N 05WP, 1350 each Bagit original bags, blue print, P/N 05BP, and 100 each, Bagit original bags, green printed custom logo Newsprint in black ink, P/N 05GP. These bags are for exisiting recycling collection throughout NRSW installation and are urgently needed. The reason justifying the lack of competition is that only the manufacturer parts will work. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and in conjunction with Command Navy Region Southwest, only one source is available for the Bagit Recycle Bins. The parts for the Talon Robots are proprietary. The parts are commercial items. Commercial procedures as outlined in FAR 12 and 13.5 are applicable. This notice constitutes a Request for Quotation. No other solicitation will be issued. The closing time and date is 12:00 P.M. (PST), Tuesday, 08 Sep 2011. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and will be advised as to how to submit their product(s) for future evaluation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all quotations received by the closing date of the Request for Quotation set forth above will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Point of Contact is Scottish T.
