- The purpose of this modification is to extend the RFQ date to 1 September 2011 at 3:00 pm EST. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of any amendments or other pertinent information. This solicitation will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under the solicitation number: F3A0T51194A001 This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 2008-0513, and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2008-0605. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 423490, Standard Industrial Class Code (SIC) 5049, and the business size standard is 100 employees. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses IAW FAR 52.219-6. This RFQ contains the following line items: - Line Item 0001, Qty 4 Each, 12-piece (4' - 5' tall) Outdoor Nativity Set with stable Christmas yard art - Line Item 0002, Qty 4 Each, 6' (six feet) Outdoor lawn Menorah display - Line Item 0003, Qty 2 Each, Candle stick for alter, 26", satin finish - Line Item 0004, Qty 2 Each, Altar Candle sticks and candles for Blessed Sacrament room - Line Item 0005, Qty 1 Each, Processional cross 92ft high with 10"X12" base, satin finish - Line item 0006, Qty 2 Each, 24" Satin finish alter candle sticks for sanctuary - Line Item 0007, Qty 1 Each, Altar cross 36" satin finish - Line Item 0008, Qty 1 Each, 36" Altar cross satin finish - Line Item 0009, Qty 2 Each, Small altar candle stick - Line Item 0010, Qty 2 Each, Candle sticks 24" satin finish for altar (item must match book rest and other candlesticks) - Line Item 0011, Qty 1 Each, Book rest for altar - Line Item 0012, Shipping The items are to be firm fixed priced to include delivery FOB destination. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DoD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in CCR at the time of award. The place of delivery, final acceptance and FOB destination point is 2503 East Arnold Ave, McGuire AFB, NJ, 08641. Acceptance will be performed by the Government or a Government representative at designated government location. All referenced Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions in this solicitation may be accessed via the internet at https://farsite.hill.af.mil. The FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (Jun 2008), applies to this acquisition. Addenda to the following paragraphs of 52.212-1 are: (a) All quotes are due on or before 1600 hrs (4:00pm), Eastern Standard Time (EST), Tuesday, 30 Aug 2011. Electronic quotes are acceptable. (b) Offeror shall be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. If the offeror does not become registered in the CCR database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror. In accordance with FAR clause 52.212-2 (a), Evaluation - Commercial Items (Jan 1999), the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quotation conforming to the solicitation and whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government based on lowest price technically acceptable. Offerors must comply with the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (May 2011) with Alternate I. An offeror shall complete only paragraphs (b) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov.
