- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) intends to award a 12-month firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract, with one (1) 12-month option period, to Veterans Enterprise Technology Solutions, Inc., 367 Triple C Dr., Clarksville, VA, 23927-2554, for virtualized server support, Microsoft Windows upgrade, and technical writer support services for VA's Office of Information and Technology Region 5. Required support services include system administration and maintenance, help desk support, software packaging support, and documentation support services. This effort will support Region 5 in meeting VA milestones of Visibility to the Desktop, reduction of vulnerabilities, and standardization of application security patch management. This effort is issued under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), Veterans First Contracting Program. Contracts awarded using this authority are supported by written justifications as required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5, Authorized or required by statute . Deliverables are to be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541519 with the corresponding small business size standard of $25,000,000. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is VA118-11-RP-0665 and will be issued on or about September 1, 2011. Performance will be at VA facilities located at Hines, IL and Austin, TX.
